Unauthorized Use of Professional Credentials

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION

Public Notification of Members Not in Good Standing

IASHEP is committed to upholding the highest professional standards in the safety, health, and environmental fields. As such, IASHEP shall notify the public when any individual is no longer a member in good standing due to failure to maintain their professional credentials as required by IASHEP Bylaws.

A member shall be considered not in good standing if they:

  • Have failed to pay the required annual renewal fees.
  • Have not met the recertification requirements within the designated time frame.
  • Have been subject to disciplinary action resulting in suspension or revocation of their credential(s).

IASHEP shall maintain and publicly display a list of individuals who are not in good standing through appropriate channels, such as the IASHEP website or official publications, to ensure employers, regulatory agencies, and the public have access to accurate credential status information.

Credential Usage Terms & Conditions

IASHEP Credential Usage Conditions

IASHEP members are granted the right to use their professional credentials only when authorized and for the specific period designated by IASHEP. The following conditions apply to the use of IASHEP credentials:

Validity Period

Credentials issued by IASHEP are valid only for the period specified upon issuance or renewal.

Authorization Expiration

Authorization to use the credential expires immediately if the holder fails to pay the annual membership renewal fee or does not meet recertification requirements.

Unauthorized Use Warning

Continued use of an expired or revoked credential constitutes unauthorized use and may result in disciplinary action, including legal consequences.

IASHEP retains the right to take necessary actions against individuals who misuse credentials, including public correction of misrepresentation and potential legal enforcement.

As such, the names of the following people are posted for a minimum of five (5) Years or until such time as they correct such standing.

Enforcement and Compliance

Policy Enforcement Actions

IASHEP reserves the right to enforce this policy to protect the integrity of its credentialing programs. Any individual found misusing an IASHEP credential may face:

Formal Notice

Formal written notice to cease unauthorized use.

Membership Revocation

Revocation of membership privileges.

Legal Action

Legal action for trademark infringement or misrepresentation.

Member Compliance Agreement

By obtaining and using an IASHEP credential, members agree to comply with this policy and all applicable IASHEP Bylaws.

Members Not in Good Standing

The member name listed below is considered a member not in good standing and their five-year penalty expiration year is noted in brackets.
